This Privacy Policy explains how NowBazar ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website https://www.nowbazar.in and the NowBazar mobile app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account details: name, phone number, email address and password (stored encrypted).
Order details: delivery address, pincode, delivery zone, items ordered, order notes and payment method.
Location: with your permission, your device location is used only to detect your delivery zone and help with delivery. You can turn this off in your device settings.
Device information: device type, operating system and a push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to send you order updates and offers.
Usage data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account.
To process, deliver and support your orders.
To share your name, phone number and address with our delivery partner for your order.
To send order status notifications (placed, confirmed, preparing, on the way, delivered, cancelled).
To send offers and updates, which you can turn off in your device notification settings.
To prevent fraud, keep the Service secure and meet legal obligations.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Our delivery partners, to deliver your order.
Service providers who help us run the Service (for example hosting and Google Firebase for notifications), under confidentiality obligations.
Government or law enforcement authorities when required by law.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption (HTTPS) and access controls to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

View and update your profile details from your account.
Request a copy of your data or ask us to correct it.
Delete your account at any time: in the app go to Account → Profile → Delete account, or on the website open My account → Profile → Delete account. Your account, saved address, cart and device tokens are deleted immediately. Past order records are kept without your account link only where required for billing, tax or legal purposes. You can also email support@nowbazar.in to request deletion; we will complete it within 30 days.
Withdraw location or notification permission at any time from your device settings.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated date.
